The Core Worlds
The third planet of eight in the Sol system. The cradle of humanity and once home to over 10 billion people, the earth's atmosphere gradually deteriorated forcing more and more emigration to the outer sectors. Around 70% of the Earth's surface is covered with water despite extensive attempts at land reclamation. The land masses are largely covered with human habitation centred in 7 so called mega cities.

The fourth planet of eight in the Sol system and one of the first to be colonised following the discovery of large quantities of sub-surface ice. Mars was not terraformed but the surface was developed by the use of bio-domes and interconnecting tunnel systems. The planet is home to the largest collection of orbiting shipyards of any of the developed worlds and is still the largest producer of ships of the core systems.
